Cooling System Flush

1.) What is a cooling system flush?
A cooling system flush first cleans the entire cooling system and then removes debris and worn out coolant completely from the system. Fresh new coolant is added after; some conditioners can also be added to prevent rust, corrosion and leaks.

2.) Why is a cooling system flush necessary?
With time, the buffering ingredients in coolant are depleted and it becomes extremely corrosive. If left without a flush, the old corrosive coolant can literally eat holes in your cooling system components. The by-products of corrosion damage, rust and scale can also clog the passageways that conduct the water through the radiator which will choke off the flow and ultimately lead to an overheated engine. In some extreme cases, an overheated engine can be damaged beyond repair. So flushing your cooling system regularly can save you thousands of dollars in the long run.

3.) How often should I flush my cooling system?
On older vehicles, it is a good idea to flush the cooling system yearly. On new vehicles, flushing the cooling system every two or three years is standard. Schedule your drop off now!
